Had a great camporee. A main highlight was using our new pizza oven for the first time. The scouts didn’t place in the camporee competition, but we didn’t come home empty handed. Mr. Paul won 1st place in the Dutch oven competition with his jambalaya, and got a grill for fire cooking! The scouts also learned some hard lessons on what happens when not preparing properly for rain. They’ll be ready next time.
